Protesters, who showed up during the celebration of the Seder, the dinner on the first night of the Jewish Passover, held signs and flags and threw red paint on a table, instead of the traditional red wine used during the celebration, and later burned it, according to The Times of Israel.

Yehuda Cohen, the father of one of the soldiers being held by the Palestinian Islamist movement, stressed that after “six months of neglect, another holiday has passed and the abductees have not returned” home.

Netanyahu said in a message on the social network X that this was a night to think “of those who cannot gather with their families around the Seder table.”

“Their absence strengthens our determination and reminds us of the urgency of our mission. We will not rest until each and every one is freed,” he stressed.

The head of the Israeli government also pointed out that “the genocidal terrorist organization” Hamas “has rejected all proposals to release the hostages.”

“It seeks to divide us and harden its position, but we will respond with determination,” he assured.

Netanyahu also announced that in the coming days “there will be additional military and diplomatic measures to achieve the release” of the hostages.
