Ex-police officer kills ex-wife and girlfriend in the US. He is on the run
Authorities believe that he may be in the company of his one-year-old son.

Elias Huizar, 39, is "armed and dangerous," authorities said, warning that he may be willing to commit more crimes.
The man is also believed to have kidnapped his one-year-old son with his latest girlfriend, the Washington State Police said.
The suspect shot his ex-wife dead at William Wiley Elementary School, where she worked as a teacher, on Monday afternoon. While searching for the man, authorities found the body of his teenage girlfriend at the apartment where he had been living.
His relationship with the girl was one of the cases he was due to answer in court on Tuesday, when he was charged with the rape of two minors, NBC News reported.
Elias Huizar divorced his ex-wife in 2020. The couple had two children together, and the woman had filed a restraining order against her ex-husband because she feared for her safety and that of her children, the NY Post reported. Days before the crimes, the man had asked to change the custody agreement for the children, aged between 5 and 9.
Police have since issued an Amber Alert – a child abduction alert system – and said they believe Elias may be trying to reach the Mexican border.
