Man fined for urinating into cup on plane at Australian airport
The 53-year-old man was sentenced to pay 600 Australian dollars (more than 360 euros).

A passenger was fined earlier this month for urinating into a cup on an Air New Zealand plane while it was on the tarmac at Sydney Airport in Australia. The incident happened in December last year after the plane had landed but there was a delay in passengers being able to disembark.
According to the Associated Press, the 53-year-old man was ordered to pay a $600 Australian fine (more than $400).
The incident was reported to cabin crew by a female passenger who was sitting in the same row as the man. The woman said she and her 15-year-old daughter were sitting in the middle and aisle seats when the man, who was in the window seat, urinated into a cup.
The woman said the plane had been sitting on the tarmac for about 20 minutes, waiting to move to a gate where passengers could get off. “He was obviously very intoxicated,” the woman said, adding that the man also spilled urine on a flight attendant.
The man was later escorted off the plane by Australian Federal Police officers.
