Ukraine. Russian attack kills two in Odessa
A Russian missile strike killed at least two people and wounded eight others in the southwestern Ukrainian port city of Odessa on Saturday, the region’s governor said.

"Unfortunately, the Russian missile attack left two people dead. Eight other people were injured to varying degrees of severity, including a 12-year-old boy," Oleg Kiper said on Telegram.
In an earlier message, the governor said the strike damaged "residential buildings and civilian infrastructure".
Odesa, a Black Sea port vital for Ukrainian exports, has been regularly hit by deadly Russian missile and drone strikes.
Meanwhile, in Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city in the northeast, a civilian was wounded in a Russian strike on Monday, local officials said.
On Telegram, the region's governor Oleg Synegubov said a 42-year-old man was wounded by shrapnel during a Russian "missile attack".
Russia has intensified bombardments of Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure in recent weeks.
On the ground, Russian forces have made slow advances against Ukrainian troops who complain of shortages of men and munitions, as Kyiv pleads with its allies to ramp up military aid.
