Teenager held over Molotov cocktails at Warsaw synagogue
Polish security forces detained a 16-year-old on Thursday for allegedly throwing Molotov cocktails at the Nozyk Synagogue, the oldest in the Polish capital of Warsaw, on Wednesday.

A police spokesman said the young man, who has not been named, has so far refused to give a statement about what happened, so the motive for the attack is unknown, according to the newspaper 'Rzeczpospolita'.
On Wednesday, after the incident, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that a group of unidentified men had tried to "set fire" to the synagogue, in an attack that ended with no victims or injuries.
Polish President Andrzej Duda regretted what happened and reaffirmed that "there is no place for anti-Semitism and hatred" in Poland.
