Fire at a hostel in Brazil kills two. A man was arrested
Flames flared up around midnight at an inn in Asa Sul, in Brasília.

Two people died, this Friday, following a fire in a hostel in Asa Sul, in Brasília, Brazil.
The flames started around midnight and spread to the ground floor and first floor of the building which contained 32 rooms.
According to Metropoles, the two fatal victims were unable to leave the building and had to be rescued by firefighters. One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Another was transported to the hospital and also ended up not surviving.
The hostel is known as the 'Pousada do senhor Santos' and about 22 people were at the scene at the time.
According to the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF), a man was arrested on suspicion of setting the fire. His motives are not yet known.
