The sanctioned organizations are Hilltop Youth and Lehava - the first, according to British diplomacy, is "a radical nationalist group of young Israelis that establishes illegal settlements in the West Bank", appealing to the expulsion of all Palestinians from the occupied territories; the second is accused of "facilitating, inciting and promoting violence against Arab and Palestinian communities".

The United Kingdom also imposed sanctions against four "radical settlers" identified as Noam Federman -- former leader of the now-defunct extremist party Kach --, Neria Ben Pazi, Eden Levi and the unofficial spokesman for the Hilltop Youth movement, Elisha Yered.

These sanctions include a travel ban to the United Kingdom and the freezing of any assets that the designated entities and individuals may have in the country, in addition to prohibiting British companies or organizations from collaborating with them.

The United Kingdom recalls that, since the beginning of the war between Israel and the Islamist group Hamas, on October 7, the West Bank has become the scene of more than 800 incidents of settler violence and that more than 480 Palestinians have died in Israeli operations, as well as in settler attacks in the area.
