"We are engaging with all actors on the resumption of the entry of goods, including fuel, so that we can resume managing the receipt of goods. However, the situation remains extremely fluid and we continue to face a number of challenges, amidst ongoing hostilities," Stéphane Dujarric said during his daily press briefing.

The Spokesperson stressed the need for fuel to sustain the humanitarian operations in the enclave, as the UN only has enough for a few more hours.
Earlier, the Israeli army revealed that it had closed the Kerem Shalom crossing in the south of the Gaza Strip again today, after an alleged new attack by the Palestinian group Hamas, further restricting the entry of humanitarian aid into the enclave.
"Today Hamas attacked Kerem Shalom, for the third time this week," an Israeli military spokesperson told the EFE agency.
In his briefing, Dujarric warned that key medical facilities in Rafah, also in the south of the enclave, could soon become inaccessible or inoperable.
For example, the Spokesperson said that one of the three hospitals in Rafah - Al Najjar - had to be abruptly evacuated on Tuesday, as it is located in an area subject to evacuation orders issued by the Israel Defense Forces.
According to the World Health Organization, this unit has the only dialysis department still operating in the Gaza Strip, which "is a lifeline for some 200 patients who require this service".
