This young woman never goes to her friends' weddings. And she explains why

A young Spanish woman decided to take to TikTok to explain the reason why she declines all the wedding invitations she receives.
The young woman begins by explaining that "historically, marriage represented the moment when people took advantage of love to change their lives". Nowadays, she argues, all that has been lost, and what could be done with "a paper and a party" has become something exaggerated in which people "put together an event as if they were influencers".
Another reason is the fact that she "doesn't like to feel obliged to do something" and attending one of these events requires you to give a gift, usually monetary. "I prefer to spend money on travelling", she argues, also stating that "earning money is hard".
And she adds that she doesn't believe in what weddings represent nowadays and that they disgust her. "Call me unromantic if you want", she says.
Her sharing divided opinions, with many agreeing and many others thinking that, with this attitude, the young woman will not have many friends in life.
