A Texas man in the US has become the oldest person to skydive. Alfred Blaschke last skydived at 106 years and 327 days old, reclaiming a title he once held.

"If you think you can't do something, you're just underestimating yourself. Everybody is more capable than they think they are," Blaschke told Guinness World Records.

According to UPI, the man previously jumped out of a plane in 2020 when he was 103. However, his record was later broken by Swedish woman Rut Linnéa Ingegärd Larsson, who achieved the feat at 103 years and 259 days.

On the day he reclaimed his title, Blaschke was joined by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who jumped out of the plane before the elderly man.
