A man who was run over by his own van in Benissa, Alicante, Spain, was rescued after 12 hours thanks to the music coming from the vehicle's radio.
According to ABC, it all happened at the beginning of Tuesday evening, in a rural area. The man was outside the van when he realized that it was not in gear and had lost control. He tried to get back into the vehicle and was run over, ending up injured and unable to move from underneath it.
The man was unable to call for help and spent the whole night in these circumstances, until Wednesday.
The van remained on after the accident and it was thanks to the sound of the radio that the local police were able to locate the man, when they were looking for him in that rural area, a vast area with many paths, which made the search difficult, as highlighted by the Spanish newspaper.
The fire brigade and the emergency services were called and they managed to rescue him. The man was transferred to a hospital.
