Man dies after being hit by tree in workplace accident in Spain
Firefighters carried out the disentanglement maneuvers to free the body from under the eucalyptus tree. The emergency teams ended up declaring the death. The accident happened in Monte da Curota, in the municipality of Ribeira, Spain.

A 40-year-old worker for a logging company in Negreira, a municipality in Spain, died this Monday after getting trapped under a eucalyptus tree in Monte da Curota, in the municipality of Ribeira.
The emergency services were alerted by a colleague, who reported that the man had suffered an accident at work and that a tree had fallen on him, according to La Voz de Galicia.
Firefighters from Ribeira and Boiro, the Ribeira GAEM, the Local and National Police, Civil Protection and the Local Police of Pobra, as well as the medical services, were called to the scene.
The firefighters carried out the necessary manoeuvres to free the body from under the eucalyptus tree. The emergency services ended up declaring him dead.
Due to the difficult terrain where the accident occurred, the body was transferred by helicopter.
