Leipzig violence erupts as man wields samurai sword

A police investigation is underway after a fight between several men in Eisenbahnstr, Leipzig, Germany.
Footage of the incident was shared on X (formerly Twitter) and shows several individuals involved in an exchange of blows, culminating in a man appearing with a katana in his hand, at which point the participants began to disperse.
The police are investigating the incident, which resulted in two people being injured, reports Bild.
"We are aware of the video. It will be incorporated into our investigation into the altercation on Eisenbahnstrasse," said Leipzig police spokesman Olaf Hoppe.
According to the German newspaper, it has not yet been possible to determine what caused the altercation.
