Royal Palace has confirmed: Zelensky arrives in Spain this Friday
After Spain, the Ukrainian leader is expected to visit Portugal, a visit that has already been confirmed by the Defense Minister, Nuno Melo, although no date has been given.

Ukrainian President will be in Spain on Friday, May 17, and is expected to then make a stop in Portugal (an exact date has not yet been confirmed).
According to Reuters, the Royal Palace of Madrid confirmed Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the country this week, a visit that will include a meeting with King Felipe VI.
According to ABC, after the meeting with the monarch, Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will host a lunch in his honor at the Royal Palace.
For security reasons, no other details are known about the Ukrainian president's visit to Spain. The only information revealed so far is that he will meet with Pedro Sánchez to sign a bilateral security agreement between Spain and Ukraine.
It should be recalled that, this Monday, it was reported that the Ukrainian leader would visit Portugal soon. The visit, according to SIC Notícias, would take place after Zelensky passes through Spain.
Today, the Minister of National Defense, Nuno Melo, confirmed in Lisbon that the visit of the President of Ukraine to Portugal "is being prepared", without giving further details about the date or program of the trip.
