Since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas, on October 7, 2023, there have been frequent exchanges of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, which supports the Palestinian Islamist movement.
"On the northern border, a civilian was killed today by an anti-tank missile that hit Admit", a town on the border with Lebanon, said Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari, adding that five soldiers were slightly injured.
"During the day, we attacked dozens of Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon," the spokesman added.
Israel launched an offensive in the Gaza Strip following Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023, which caused around 1,200 deaths in Israeli territory and took more than 200 hostages.
The Israeli military offensive in Gaza has so far caused more than 35,000 deaths, according to the authorities of the Palestinian territory.
