A video has been released of the attack that killed two prison guards on Tuesday in France, in what was an ambush on a prison van to free inmate Mohamed A., better known as 'La Mouche', who is on the run.

It is recalled that everything happened at an Incarville toll booth, in the Eure region. Two prison guards were killed and three were seriously injured after being shot during the attack on the van, which was transporting the inmate.

Two vehicles were involved in this attack and both were found burned by the authorities.

France is now conducting a manhunt for the 30-year-old.

The French prosecutor of the Republic of Paris, Laure Beccuau, outlined the profile of Mohamed Amra, who had been in custody since 7 January 2022 in connection with several proceedings. He was held in Fleury-Mérogis, in the Santé prison in Paris, and in Marseille, before being transferred to Évreux to await trial.

At just 30 years old, the man born in 1994 already has thirteen convictions, the first of which was in 2009, when he was just 15 years old.

Most of these convictions were handed down by the Evreux Court and the Rouen Court of Appeal, and relate to property crimes, including robberies, an attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

Another pre-trial detention measure was ordered in September 2023 in an investigation by the Marseille court, in which he is charged with murder in an organised gang, kidnapping and criminal association, among other crimes.
