19-year-old tries to kill parents and is annoyed to learn he failed

An Arizona teen shot his parents in an attempted murder-suicide hours after Mother's Day. Jeremiah Estel Blair, 19, allegedly plotted to kill his parents for years, saying he did not agree with the way they raised him and that he had an unhappy childhood.
The suspect shot his parents at their Phoenix home Monday morning. The couple was taken to a hospital, and Jeremiah was taken into custody without incident.
The victims survived, and the news apparently did not sit well with the suspect.
"He showed remorse after learning that his parents were going to survive," according to court documents obtained by Fox 10.
The teen is facing two counts of attempted murder and remains in police custody.
