Goats and sheep escape from farm and are found wandering on road
The alert to authorities came from drivers who reported loose goats and sheep on Interstate 64 in Chesapeake, Virginia, United States.

A group of about nine goats and sheep escaped from their owner's farm in Chesapeake, Virginia, and ended up wandering into a busy stretch of highway Thursday.
The Virginia State Police was alerted by drivers who reported seeing the loose goats and sheep on Interstate 64, according to United Press International.
In a Facebook post, the agency said troopers "were not 'kidding' around tonight when it came to keeping some wayward travelers safe on I-64 near the High Rise Bridge in the city of Chesapeake."
"Why did the goats and sheep cross the sound barrier near their farm? To get to the other 'baaah,' apparently," the Virginia State Police joked.
The animals were not injured, and there were no reports of any traffic incidents related to their outing.
