An Orange County, California, couple’s reaction to the surprise news that their daughter-in-law is pregnant with a baby girl is delighting the internet.

Brenda and Victor Morgan had been eagerly awaiting the day their son, Darien, and his wife, Golda, would expand their family.

“I told Darien and my daughter-in-law last year that I wanted to be a grandpa before my next birthday,” Victor, 60, told TODAY.

Though Golda had been tracking her fertility with an app, the couple figured it would be a while before they could share any exciting news. But not long after that conversation with her father-in-law, Golda found out she was expecting.

“We were very excited, but it was a shock,” Darien, 29, admitted.

The couple, who are expecting a baby girl in October, decided to share the news with Darien’s parents during a visit to celebrate Brenda’s 60th birthday. In fact, the gift the expectant grandmother received was a positive pregnancy test.

Brenda and Victor’s reaction was captured on video and shared on TikTok, where it has racked up 11.5 million views as of press time.

“What is in that bag? A pregnancy? No way,” Victor exclaims, as seen in the video above.

The grandfather-to-be then throws the bag in the air, which hits his wife in the face, and falls to the ground as they both squeal and laugh hysterically.

The couple, who will celebrate their 36th wedding anniversary in July, never expected to be surprised in such a way. That’s because Darien’s sister is also pregnant, and she is due to give birth to a baby boy in August.

The heartwarming moment has delighted social media users, who called it the “best reactions ever.”

“I think this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen,” one commenter wrote.
