McDonald's Is Having a $5 Meal Deal for a Month in the US
The menu will be substantially cheaper compared to McDonald's list prices, although it will be for a limited time.

McDonald’s is planning to roll out a $5 meal in the U.S. next month as it looks to combat slowing sales and customer frustration over high prices.
The combo will let customers get four chicken nuggets, fries, a small drink and either a McDouble or a McChicken for $5 at most locations nationwide, a person familiar with the matter told The Associated Press.
The monthlong promotion is scheduled to begin June 25 and has yet to be announced. Some locations with higher costs, such as California and Hawaii, may charge more, the person said.
McDonald’s did not confirm the combo when contacted by the AP on Thursday, but the Chicago-based company said last month that it planned to step up promotions to combat slowing customer traffic in some markets.
“We know how much our customers value a great deal when they visit McDonald’s,” the company said.
The combo will be a significant discount from McDonald’s regular menu prices, though it will be for a limited time.
