Chinese agriculture minister probed over graft suspicions
Chinese Agriculture Minister Tang Renjian is being investigated for suspected "serious violations of party discipline and laws," official sources reported today.

Two of China’s most powerful anti-corruption bodies, the Communist Party’s (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the state supervisory commission, are in charge of the investigation.
So far, the two bodies have not released further details about the alleged crimes of Tang, who, if confirmed, would be the third cabinet-level official to fall under President Xi Jinping in less than a year.
