Nineteen Palestinians have been killed in an attack on a house north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the center of the enclave, according to the daily newspaper.

Emergency teams had to interrupt search operations due to "lack of capacity", Filastin also reported.

In addition, Israeli fighter planes bombed several points in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, in an attack that killed a journalist, local sources told the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Two days ago, authorities in the Gaza Strip announced the death of four journalists in a series of Israeli army bombings.

Since the beginning of the war, a total of 148 journalists have died, the Europa Press news agency wrote today.

Areas of the city of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, were also the scene of "heavy artillery shelling", which killed and injured several citizens, the same agency said.

On Saturday, the Hamas Ministry of Health updated the death toll in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas to 35,386 people.

In a statement, the ministry said that 83 people died in 24 hours, in a night of "intense bombing" in Jabalia and in which new troop movements were registered in Rafah, in the south.

The spokesman for the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip, independent of Hamas, said that the destruction in Jabalia "is massive", after more than 300 houses were "completely destroyed".

The Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip has caused more than 35,000 deaths and nearly 80,000 injuries in seven months, according to data from the Health Ministry of the enclave, controlled by Hamas since 2007.

The current conflict was triggered by an unprecedented Hamas attack in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which caused about 1,200 deaths and two hundred hostages, according to Israeli authorities.
