Israeli airstrike kills 20 in Gaza refugee camp
An Israeli airstrike killed 20 people before dawn in the Nousseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, which has been devastated by more than seven months of war, the Al-Aqsa hospital and witnesses said.

"We received 20 dead and several injured after an Israeli air strike hit a house belonging to the Hassan family in the Nousseirat camp," the Al-Aqsa hospital said in a statement.
Witnesses said the strike took place in the middle of the night, at around 3:00 am (00:00 GMT).
The Israeli military said it was looking into the reports.
Since a ground offensive began on May 7 in the southern city of Rafah, shelling and fighting have intensified around Nousseirat and further north in Gaza City and Jabalia, where the Israeli military says it is carrying out "pinpoint" operations.
Witnesses reported continued explosions and fighting throughout the night in Jabalia on Tuesday.
In the north of the Gaza Strip, artillery fire was heard in the area of Sheikh Zayed, while in the south, on the border with Egypt, witnesses reported Israeli helicopter gunships firing east of Rafah.
The Al-Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza City also reported that three people had been killed and several wounded in an Israeli air strike on a school sheltering displaced people in the Sheikh Zayed area.
