The Israeli attacks also caused at least 110 injuries in the last 24 hours, so the total number is now 79,476, according to the same report by the authorities in Gaza, quoted by the EFE agency.

In the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the centre of the Gaza Strip, an Israeli bombardment against a residential building killed at least 31 inhabitants early in the morning, including women and children, the Gaza rescue services reported today, heard by the same news agency.

The situation in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the north of Gaza, remains critical and, in the last few hours, the Palestinian agency Wafa denounced a siege of the Al-Awda Hospital by Israeli troops.

"The treatment services cannot be provided to the injured and sick, because the Israeli artillery bombarded the hospital before surrounding it, preventing civilians and medical teams from entering or leaving", reports Wafa.

The Israeli army, for its part, reported today, in a statement, the discovery of "anti-tank missiles, drones and grenades", as well as a weapons production workshop in the Jabalia area, besieged for over a week.

In the note, it also announced that a direct air bombardment killed an alleged Hamas militant, who, according to Israeli military sources, was dedicated to smuggling weapons for the Islamist group.

The Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip has caused over 35 thousand deaths and around 80,000 injuries in seven months, according to data from the enclave's Ministry of Health, controlled by Hamas since 2007.

The current conflict was triggered by an unprecedented attack by Hamas in the south of Israel, on 7 October 2023, which caused around 1,200 deaths and two hundred hostages, according to the Israeli authorities.
