A 10-year-old girl has cut off her hair for the second time to donate to children with cancer. Lexie Warwick-Oliver, from West Yorkshire, England, said she was "really proud".

Lexie Warwick-Oliver has autism and ADHD, which makes getting her hair cut even more difficult as she does not like being touched. She said she was "a bit nervous" beforehand but was "relieved" afterwards. “I feel really proud of myself,” she said.

The youngster has donated 13 inches of hair to the Little Princess Trust, which provides free wigs to children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses, Sky News reports. She will receive a certificate from the charity to mark her efforts.

The hairdressers gave her a discount on her trim and also gave her some hair products.

In 2021, she cut off 6.5 inches of her hair to donate to the charity. She also raised more than £500 to help pay for treatment for a family friend’s daughter who has leukaemia.

Lexie has been growing her hair again for the past three years so that it was long enough to be made into a wig.
