Video shows Iranian president inside helicopter before crash

A video released by Iran's public channel shows the country's president, Ebrahim Raisi, and his entourage inside the helicopter, minutes before the fatal accident.
In the images it is possible to see that the aircraft was going through some turbulence and "on President Rasi's face the fear and the confusion", as pointed out by internet users who comment on the video, which has been shared on social media.
It should be recalled that the helicopter carrying Ebrahim Raisi suffered an air accident last Sunday, May 19, due to adverse weather conditions.
The Iranian president was returning from an official trip to Azerbaijan for the inauguration of a dam with his Azeri counterpart, Ilham Aliyev.
In addition to Ebrahim Raisi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, also died in the accident.
The helicopter carrying them crashed in the Kalibar and Warzghan area, in the East Azerbaijan province, in the northwest of the country. More than 2,000 people participated in the search and have already managed to recover the bodies.
The funeral ceremonies begin today.
