"More than 14,000 people have been displaced in a matter of days and almost 189,000 others continue to live less than 25 kilometres from the border with the Russian Federation," said WHO representative in Ukraine, Jarno Habicht.

Those remaining near the border face "significant risks from ongoing hostilities", Habicht said during a press conference, quoted by the French news agency AFP.
