Last Friday, in São Paulo, Brazil, a 16-year-old teenager killed his adoptive parents and sister in the house they all shared. The young man, who was arrested on Monday morning after calling the authorities to confess to the crimes, showed no remorse during his subsequent testimony and stated that "he would do it all again", revealed CNN Brasil.
The same source also reported that the minor was "cold" while recounting everything that had happened. It should be recalled that when the police arrived at the scene of the crime, they found the three bodies already decomposing and the murder weapon on the living room table, still with ammunition.
In the days between killing his family members and calling the authorities with his confession, the young man reportedly followed a relatively normal routine, even going to the gym.
Arguments between them were frequent and, in his testimony, the suspect revealed that he had already thought about killing his parents on another occasion - but did not go ahead with the plan, CNN Brasil also reports.
How did it all happen?
It all reportedly started on Thursday, when the parents called the minor a "bum" and took away his cell phone. Unable to use the device to make a school presentation, he planned the murder, Brazilian media reported.
The father, Isac Tavares Santos, 57, the mother, Solange Aparecida Gomes, 50, and the sister, Letícia Gomes Santos, 16, were killed with the father's gun, who was a Municipal Civil Guard in Jundiaí.
The teenager told the authorities that he knew where his father hid the gun and that he tested it on the mattress moments before carrying out the first murder. The young man shot his father, who was standing with his back to him in the kitchen. The sister heard and, seeing what was happening, was shot in the face.
The authorities located the young man in the family home, which the teenager decided to murder because on Thursday his parents had "called him a bum" and taken away his cell phone.
Notícias ao Minuto | 15:39 - 20/05/2024The young man then went to the gym and, when he returned, waited for his mother to arrive, who was killed when she saw the bodies of her husband and daughter. The teenager also placed a knife on his mother's body the next day.
The crimes in question are murder, femicide, illegal possession or carrying of a weapon and desecration of a corpse. The investigation is ongoing.
