Arrested for beating his wife and hiding her from the police inside a sofa
During an inspection of the apartment, the police found the woman inside the bedroom sofa.

Local police in Lugo, Spain, have arrested a 21-year-old man accused of assaulting his partner and hiding her inside a sofa to prevent her from being seen by the officers who were alerted by the neighbors.
According to Telecinco, the events occurred on the afternoon of May 19, when the neighbors of a building alerted the police that they had heard the screams of a man in a house and the inconsolable crying of a woman, so they considered that she could be "at serious risk".
Upon the arrival of the officers, the man denied the facts and, although he admitted that he had a partner, he said that he was alone in the apartment. However, during an inspection of the apartment, the police found the woman inside the sofa in the bedroom.
The woman, "in a state of nervousness", stated that she had had an argument with her partner, "who, very nervous, shouted at her a lot and, at one point, 'his arms went to her neck', causing her erosions", she told the officers.
The police requested the presence of an ambulance and arrested the 21-year-old.
