Man who ran over boy and fled identified (but is still at large)
Child was in serious condition after being run over in Valencia. Suspect's whereabouts are unknown.

The local police in Valencia, Spain, have managed to identify the driver of a car who, last Sunday, ran over an eight-year-old boy and fled the scene without providing assistance. However, his whereabouts are still unknown.
According to the Spanish website ABC, the boy is hospitalised with a reserved prognosis after suffering serious injuries. The child was crossing a pedestrian crossing, accompanied by a family member, when the incident occurred.
After the incident, the authorities asked for help in finding the driver of the vehicle, a BMW, which had lost its left rear-view mirror.
Four days after the hit-and-run and thanks to video surveillance footage, the authorities managed to trace the car's registration number and the identity of the driver, who is still at large.
Yesterday, a reconstruction of the events was carried out and the authorities realised that the man, who was accompanied by another individual, did not brake at any time.
The authorities are now trying to locate the driver, who is not at home.
