Trump and DeSantis Make Nice in Mutual Interest Reconciliation
Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are signaling to donors that they have put their personal feud behind them.

DeSantis huddled with supporters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this week to encourage them to donate to help Trump try to unseat Democrat Joe Biden as U.S. president.
The governor and about 30 people gathered Thursday morning in a hotel conference room to raise money for a group supporting Trump’s reelection bid.
The Republican incumbent called into the meeting to thank the group for their support.
In what people in the room described as a gracious and warm phone call that was piped in over the venue’s sound system, Trump praised DeSantis and his efforts, saying, “Ron, I love that you’re back.”
A reconciliation is in the interests of both men.
Trump is looking to raise money to run against Biden, and DeSantis is looking to keep alive the possibility of a future presidential run, for which Trump’s supporters could prove invaluable.
DeSantis’ effort has raised more than $3 million.
