Kremlin prepares Putin's visit to North Korea
The Kremlin advanced today that it is preparing a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to North Korea, a country accused by the West of providing weapons and ammunition to Moscow for the offensive in Ukraine.

"President Putin has received an invitation to pay an official visit to North Korea. This visit is being prepared. We will announce the dates of this trip in due course," Kremlin (presidential) spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the Russian news agency Ria Novosti.
The Russian president received North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Russia in September 2023.
The West, particularly the United States, accuses the Pyongyang regime of supplying weapons and ammunition to Russia for its military campaign in Ukraine.
In January, Putin met with North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Son-hee in Moscow, in a new sign of rapprochement between the two countries that share a common border.
