Police officer run over by hit-and-run driver in Spain
During the escape he ended up crashing into several vehicles. After the accident, the man fled on foot until he was detained.

A Local Police officer in León, Spain, was run over on Thursday when he tried to stop a car that was being chased by the authorities. The officer was treated at the scene and later taken to hospital.
The perpetrator of the hit-and-run was arrested in a joint and coordinated action by the Local Police and the National Police of León. According to ABC Spain, the authorities intercepted the man in the area where the hit-and-run occurred.
It all started when the man was ordered to stop by the police. He still tried to flee, but ended up crashing into several vehicles and running over the officer who was trying to stop him. After the accident, he fled on foot until he was arrested.
The detainee has "several requests from different courts" according to sources from the León City Council.
