According to the dispatch, released by the Guinean Human Rights League, JIC Simão Bacalé Biague "accepted the claims of the plaintiffs", defense attorneys and the Public Ministry, and ordered "the immediate release" of the detainees.
They are activists from the Frente Popular, a platform that brings together youth organizations, unions and women's groups, who contest the current regime in Guinea-Bissau.
Among the activists who should be released is the coordinator of the Frente Popular, Armando Lona.
In the same dispatch, the JIC orders the Ministry of the Interior, through the Public Order Police (POP), to forward all the records relating to the process that led to the detention of the activists, in order to proceed with the investigations.
The JIC warns that failure to comply with this determination will lead that police body to "incur the wrath of article 239 of the Guinean Penal Code".
The activists still detained are part of a group of 93 people who demonstrated last Saturday in Bissau, 84 of whom were released on Sunday. One of the detainees is hospitalized due to health problems.
The demonstration called for Saturday by the Frente Popular was demobilized by the police, and the management of the platform that brings together youth associations, unions and women's groups, declared that their actions will not stop.
"Rescue the Republic" of Guinea-Bissau was the motto chosen by the promoters of the protest, who say that the country is living in an "absolutist context, with suppression of rights, freedoms and guarantees".
