Kings of Spain host lunch "in honor" of Zelensky during visit to the country
Zelensky had already been personally received by Felipe VI at the Barajas airport in Madrid.

The King and Queen of Spain, Felipe VI and Letizia, hosted a lunch "in honor of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky", who is on an official visit to Spain this Monday.
"Together, Mr. President, we will work tirelessly so that the peace that your people deserve and need so much can be achieved as soon as possible, so that all Ukrainian citizens can live safely, free from fear and threats", said the King during this moment at the Royal Palace of Madrid.
Before that, Zelensky had already been personally received by Felipe VI, at the Barajas airport, in Madrid.

Volodymyr Zelensky is the sixth president of Ukraine since its independence, in 1991. He took office on May 20, 2019.
It is worth remembering that Zelensky signed a bilateral security agreement with Spain this morning - similar to the one he has already signed with many other allies of Ukraine.
