Baby found crawling on a road in Cadiz. Parents were in a bar
The baby was found by a couple who were driving and had to swerve to avoid something in the middle of the road. Initially, they thought it was a doll.

A baby, aged between one and a half and two years old, was found crawling alone on a road in Vejer de la Frontera, in the Spanish province of Cadiz, during the early hours of the weekend. According to El Mundo, the parents were in a local bar.
The Spanish publication, which cites a source from the Guardia Civil, indicated that the baby was found by a couple who were driving and had to swerve to avoid finding something in the middle of the road. Initially, they thought it was a doll, but when they realized that it was a baby crawling, they stopped the vehicle and called the authorities.
Witnesses told the Guardia Civil that they had seen the baby near a house, which was later visited by two police officers. At the scene, there was a man "with symptoms of having ingested a large amount of alcohol" and "unable to articulate", who claimed "not to have heard anything" about the fact that a child had been left in his care.
The parents, separated and with criminal records, were located the next day and arrested, after it was found that they had spent the night in a bar. After being presented to the judicial authority, they were released and notified to be heard by the Public Prosecutor's Office for Minors.
