18-Year-Old Gives Birth, Hides Dead Newborn in Closet
The alert was given when the teenager went to a health center due to bleeding and doctors suspected that it was a postpartum problem.

An 18-year-old girl was arrested on Tuesday after authorities found a dead newborn baby in her family home in the town of Valencia de don Juan, in León, Spain.
According to the Spanish television station Telecinco, the baby was born on Monday and was found inside a closet.
The alarm was raised when the teenager went to a health center due to bleeding and the doctors suspected that it was a postpartum problem. However, the young woman denied that she had been pregnant and the health facility decided to call the police.
The woman was rushed to the León Hospital, where she underwent surgery to stop the bleeding.
After the alert, the National Police launched a search operation to find the newborn in the surroundings of the young woman's home, but the baby was eventually found in a closet inside the house.
The case was handed over to the Guardia Civil.
