Confesses to having killed his mother during the pandemic and having lived with the body for 4 months

A 22-year-old Spanish woman has confessed to killing her mother during the pandemic and living with her corpse at home for about four months.
The defendant was 18 years old when, in April 2020, she planned the death of her mother with her then-boyfriend, in the house where they lived in Alcúdia de Crespins, Valencia.
The crime took place in the middle of the pandemic, when strict health restrictions were implemented, and the body remained at home for the next four months.
According to the defendant in court, the plan was devised by her boyfriend, who started the aggression, and the young woman, encouraged by the man, fatally stabbed the woman.
"I was in shock. I didn't know what to do. He said 'do it, do it, do it' and I finally did it," she said, quoted by 20 minutos.
After that, the young people stole two of the woman's credit cards and went to the ATM to withdraw money. In total, they stole 6,200 euros from her between 1 April and 4 June of that year.
The crime was discovered after the authorities received complaints about the behaviour of the two young people. In a visit to the residence, the Guardia Civil found the body.
The young woman faces a sentence, according to the prosecution and the Public Prosecutor's Office, of 30 years in prison for the crimes of homicide and robbery with violence in an inhabited house with the aggravating circumstance of kinship, in addition to the payment of compensation of 80,000 euros.
Her then-boyfriend, who was 17 years old, has already been tried and sentenced by a juvenile court to institutionalisation.
