Linha do Norte cut after fatal run over in Espinho
A train accident that caused one fatality today caused the interruption of the Northern Line in Paramos, in the municipality of Espinho, several sources from Civil Protection told Lusa.

The alert was given at 8:32 a.m. for a run over that caused a death.
To Lusa, both the Sub-regional Command of the Metropolitan Area of Porto and a source from the Volunteer Firefighters of Espinho indicated, around 9:30 a.m., that the Northern line is closed with no forecast on when it will be reopened.
The occurrence happened at the Paramos station, in the municipality of Espinho, in the district of Aveiro.
It was not possible to specify the sex and age of the victim.
The Emergency Medical and Resuscitation Vehicle (VMER) of Vila Nova de Gaia, means of the Volunteer Firefighters of Espinho and the PSP were called to the scene.
The Lusa agency contacted CP to request information and is awaiting a response.
