After a few days with temperatures inviting a trip to the beach, the scenario should change slightly in the week from April 22 to 28. According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), the beginning of the week will see "a small drop in temperature" which, in the end, could result in precipitation.

"For next week, generally dry weather is expected, due to the action of an anticyclone located west of the British Isles, which will gradually join another nucleus and move north or northwest of the Azores until the end of the week," the organization said in a statement.

Along these lines, and associated with this "northeast flow", there will be "a small drop in temperature at the beginning of the week, when the maximums could reach 25 to 27°C, higher in the southern region, and the minimums could reach 0 or 2°C in the interior North and Center".

From Thursday, April 25, a depression northwest of the British Isles will move to the Bay of Biscay and influence the weather on the mainland, with "an intensification of the wind and the occurrence of precipitation expected from the 26th".

At the weekend, on the 27th and 28th, the rain is expected to have "a 30 to 60% probability of being light to moderate".
