Following several thefts that occurred inside garages in the city of Vila Nova de Famalicão, the Public Security Police (PSP) arrested a 48-year-old man.
According to a statement to which Notícias ao Minuto had access, this arrest is the result of an investigation that the PSP had been developing, and which "allowed the suspect to be linked" to several thefts.
During the investigation, the PSP also identified two merchants who had purchased several bottles of drinks from the suspect.
They were charged as defendants on suspicion of the crime of handling stolen goods.
The detainee was presented today at the Vila Nova Famalicão Judicial Court, and the measure of preventive detention was applied to him.
