Collision between motorcycle and light vehicle in Viseu causes one death
A 68-year-old man died today following a collision between a light vehicle and a motorcycle, a source from the National Republican Guard (GNR) told Lusa.

"This was a collision between two vehicles, a light vehicle and a motorcycle, which resulted in the death of the motorcycle driver, a 68-year-old man", reported the same source from the GNR.
The accident, which is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Unit for Road Accidents (NICAV) of the GNR, occurred at 2:00 pm in the locality of Pascoal, Abraveses, in the municipality of Viseu.
According to the Viseu Dão Lafões Sub-regional Civil Protection Command, 17 operatives were mobilized to the site, supported by seven vehicles from the GNR, the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) and the Viseu Firefighters.
