Horses rescued after wandering in Tábua
It was only possible to rescue the animals at 8:00pm, with the help of the owner of the animals.

Two horses were rescued this Wednesday after escaping from a farm in Póvoa de Midões, in the municipality of Tábua.
The animals roamed the Estrada Municipal 501 and then through fields in Vale de Orca during the morning. According to confirmation from the Póvoa de Midões Parish Council on the social network Facebook, several local people collaborated throughout the day with information about the horses' whereabouts.
Even so, it was only possible to rescue the animals at 8 pm, with the help of the animals' owner.
The rescue operation involved the Vila Nova de Oliveirinha and Tábua Volunteer Firefighters, as well as the Veterinary Services. The operation also had the support of the National Republican Guard (GNR).
After the rescue, the horses were taken to the "farm where they live in Póvoa de Midões".
