Young People Identified for Theft of 80 Kilos of Cork in Castelo Branco

Two young men, aged 23 and 26, were identified by the National Republican Guard (GNR) for stealing cork in the municipality of Castelo Branco.
In a statement sent to the newsroom this Saturday, the authority stated that the case dates back to last Thursday, April 25, when the military received a complaint and "quickly went to the scene, where they detected the two men, who were removing cork from a cork oak".
The police action culminated in the identification of the suspects and the seizure of 80 kilos of cork and two axes.
The suspects were constituted as defendants and the facts were communicated to the Castelo Branco Judicial Court.
