"Controlled". Fire breaks out in school storeroom in Vila Real

A fire broke out on Saturday night in the storeroom of the EB 2,3 Diogo Cão School in Vila Real.
According to the Douro Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command, the fire is already "under control".
According to the same source, the storeroom is located in an isolated area, so it was not necessary to evacuate nearby homes.
The fire alert was given at 10:39 pm, and there were no students or teachers on site.
There are 19 firefighters on site supported by six vehicles from the Vila Real Volunteer Firefighters - Cruz Verde, the Public Security Police and the Municipal Civil Protection.
