Man dies after feeling unwell during hot air balloon trip in Alqueva
Initial information indicated that the victim had fallen from the hot air balloon basket.

A person fell from a hot air balloon basket into the Alqueva Dam, in the municipality of Mourão, in Évora, confirmed Notícias ao Minuto with the Alentejo Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
According to the same source, the alert was given at 10:19 am and the victim has already been rescued, and is being evaluated on site by firefighters.
The severity of the injuries is unknown, as well as more details about the victim and the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
On site are the Mourão Volunteer Firefighters, the National Republican Guard (GNR) and the Mourão Municipal Service, with a total of 14 operatives and seven vehicles.
