MP indicts former Elvas bank employee for fraud and forgery
The Public Prosecution Service has brought charges against a former employee of a banking institution in Elvas (Portalegre), for the practice of the crime of aggravated fraud, aggravated computer fraud, computer forgery and document forgery, it was announced today.

According to a statement released on the website of the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP) of Évora, between 2019 and 2021, the defendant used his credentials and functional attributions to divert amounts of money from clients' accounts, which he used for his own benefit.
In the final ruling, the Public Prosecutor's Office requested the loss of advantages against the defendant and requested the loss, in favor of the State, of the assets acquired with the amounts obtained.
The note also states that the investigation was led by the DIAP of Évora with the assistance of the GNR.
