A 38-year-old man was arrested by the Public Security Police (PSP) on Wednesday for disobedience in Vila Nova de Famalicão.
In a statement sent to newsrooms, the PSP clarified that the man had a traffic accident and then refused to undergo a breathalyzer test.
In the note, the force clarifies that the driver was "informed by the police that such conduct would constitute a crime of disobedience". Even so, "he continued to maintain the same attitude".
He ended up being arrested and later notified to appear at the Vila Nova de Famalicão Judicial Court.
