Climate Rebellion activists cause go-slow on Gago Coutinho Avenue
Activists from the environmental movement Climáximo have been occupying lanes in one direction on Avenida Gago Coutinho, in Lisbon, since 09:00, causing traffic congestion, except in the public transport lane.

Fifteen activists hold three large banners, occupying the avenue in the direction of the Airport-Areeiro, near Lisbon airport.
"End public investment in fossil fuels" and "The ultra-rich pay for the climate transition" are the slogans that can be read on the almost three-meter banners that the protesters hold while blocking traffic.
The protest started at 9:00 am and until 9:30 am there was no presence of police authorities, Lusa found at the scene.
