Compressed air weapon against animals disappeared. A defendant was charged
On one occasion it caused "serious injuries to a feline", said the GNR. The incident took place in Barcelos.

A man was charged by the National Republican Guard (GNR) on Friday for mistreating companion animals in the municipality of Barcelos.
The military police found that the suspect, 51, mistreated the animals and even fired an air gun at them. On one occasion, he caused "serious injuries to a feline," the GNR said in a statement sent to newsrooms.
The military seized an air gun and 155 projectiles.
The man was charged and the facts were reported to the Barcelos Judicial Court.
